Do you see a pattern here to justify racial profiling?
The inspiration for this quiz was a version that offered a dozen-odd
questions, each designed to justify discrimination against Muslim men. The
correct answer to every answer was d, and every other possible answer was
ridiculous.
By doing so, this previous quiz was arguing that racial profiling was a
reasonable response to the contemporary world. However, in making this
point, this other quiz erased and trivialized all other forms of violence
state sponsored or individual, deliberate or accidental, of intent and of
indifference, whatever in all other venues.
I am not going to list any more of these, for man's inhumanity to man has no
apparent beginning, nor any apparent end, and I don't have all night. But
the authors of the earlier quiz simply picked their questions and answers to
argue their point and ignored everything else. This is both racist and
intellectually dishonest. The above is my response.
